1st World Conference on Physico-Chemical Methods in Drug Discovery and Development, September 27 - October 1, 2009, Hotel Park, Rovinj, Croatia
The conference addressed a broad range of topics related to the application of methods of physical chemistry in various aspects of pharmaceutical analytics and research. About hundred participants attended the conference with the equal distribution between academia and industry.
The programme of the Conference was well balanced with wide range of topics including, among others, separation techniques, methods of spectroscopy and microscopy, thermal analysis and physico-chemical profiling including dissolution and permeability. The programme included 10 Plenary lectures, 11 Invited lectures, and a series of short oral presentation together with poster exhibition.
Approximately 100 attendees from 20 countries all over the world were registered, giving 22 oral and 55 poster presentations.
