5th IAPC-Meeting: Emerging technologies in drug discovery and development
August 23-26, 2016, Zhuhai, China


International Association of Physical Chemists (IAPC) invites you to 5th IAPC Meeting (IAPC-5) and welcomes you to Zhuhai from 23-26 of August, 2016. The Meeting is hosted and will take place at the Zhuhai Dehan Hotel which offers excellent facilities for the organization of the conferences of this type. The Meeting’s key topic “Emerging technologies in drug discovery and development” makes a natural extension to the previous European-based series of World Conferences on Physico-Chemical Methods in Drug Discovery and Development (PCMDDD) which took place in Rovinj 2009, Zadar 2011, Dubrovnik 2013 and Red Island 2015.

The goal of the Organizing committee is to spread the missions and objectives of the Society toward different regions of the world and to position these conferences as a global forum where scientists working in different but closely related areas of pharmaceutical research, from analytical and medicinal chemistry to pharmacology and pre-clinical development, will in a relaxed atmosphere discuss and rationalize their results and challenges.

This year the activities of the IAPC are particularly aimed to reach scientists from the Eastern Asia. The conference in Zhuhai provides well positioned location in Eastern Asia which will hopefully attract scientists from the surrounding countries and even from the broader region. This will boost even further activities aimed for:

Promoting global innovation & partnership
Establishing global network between industrial research and academia
Advancing science and spreading knowledge
Helping sustainable development of the society and fostering economic growth

Well balanced scientific program is planned. The speakers include highly prominent and world recognized scientists and professionals who made and are still making significant progress in the field. They have been selected due to their past credentials and distinctive vision of the future.
