Zadar is situated in the central part of the zadarCroatian Adriatic coast and only 3 km away from the conference hotel. Due to its 3.000 year old history and rich cultural heritage it is considered as the "open-air museum". Monuments and remains from Roman period as well as from different periods of Christianity can be found in every stone around the city. It is a favourite tourist destination, and due to its unique architectonic structure and entertainment attractions it makes from the vacation an unique adventure.

Zadar is surrounded by the four worldwide known national parks of exceptional natural beauty: Plitvice lakes, Paklenica mountain, Krka waterfalls and Kornati archipelago.

Weather in Zadar

Zadar climate is typical Mediterranean with warm summers and mild winters. The summer season lasts for the six months from May to October, and the temperatures in Zadar will head well over 20 °C during this time of year.  The average sea temperature in September of 20°C and higher is expected, so it might be a good idea to bring the bathing suit. Occasional rain could be also expected.

The currency in Croatia is Croatian kuna (HRK).
